We have returned home! Our current studio and venue space is located at 3004 Franklin Ave, Waco, TX 76710.


A listening room experience prioritizes the music. We ask our guests to keep conversations to an absolute minimum during performances so that everyone—including our recording equipment—can fully appreciate the artistry of the performers.


Yes, most of our shows are family-friendly. We encourage music lovers of all ages to attend and experience the heart of Texas music.


We host live studio audiences for our tapings and showcases. Please visit our Events Calendar to see upcoming events and secure your spot. Space is limited to maintain our intimate, acoustic environment.


Yes, we offer ample, complimentary parking on-site for all event attendees.

We are always looking for new and established talent. Artists interested in performing at our Songwriter Showcases or other events should reach out via our Contact Page or email bookings with links to your music, video performances, and electronic press kit (EPK).


As part of our mission to preserve Texas music history, performances are typically captured for our historical archive, television broadcast, or digital broadcast channels. By performing here, your legacy becomes part of an archive that includes thousands of hours of Texas musical heritage.

Yes, Texas Music Cafe® is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your support directly funds our mission to preserve musical history, provide media production education, and support independent artists.


Since 1997, we have recorded and cataloged over 10,000 hours of live performances. This priceless archive serves as a permanent historical repository of the voices, rhythms, and stories that define Texas culture, preserved for future generations.
