On January 14, Texas Music Café had the privilege of participating in the Greater Waco Chamber’s LEAD program. This transformative initiative gave students a unique, hands-on experience in the world of media production. During the session, students engaged in a range of creative and technical activities, including:

• Creating Graphics: Learning the fundamentals of visual design for media.
• Operating Cameras: Mastering camera setup, angles, and movement to capture high-quality footage.
• Directing Camera Operators: Developing leadership skills by coordinating team efforts on set.
• Writing a Script: Exploring the art of storytelling and script writing for interviews.
• Producing a Short Segment: Collaborating on an interview-style production alongside their mentors.

This immersive experience provided students with valuable insights into the media industry, empowering them to explore creative careers and develop leadership skills.
